8.2_MAIN INITIATIVES
Begun in 2011, the “Human Capital” project continued
on throughout 2012, on the premise of making the
most of human capital at ANA, S.A. through a process
for “development through involvement” aimed at the
company staff. The EU_SA_II Workshops held in 2012
involved 81% of the company’s staff, continuing
the process of self-reflection initiated in the EU_SA I
Workshop.
The purpose of these sessions was to build individual
and team development plans, in order to meet each
staff member’s expectations for professional develop-
ment. This exercise not only reinforced the importance
of investing in personal and professional development,
especially in today’s world, but also in clarifying the next
steps in the project.
The “BELIEVE IN THE FUTURE” conference was also a
key event, with debates on each staff member’s active
participation in the future, anticipating it, working it
out, and projecting it from an individual and corporate
perspective, achieving a level of self-confidence in
his/her role in constructing the future.
