best European airport in 2011, earning the seventh award in six consecutive years, under the
Airports Service Quality programme
FEBRUARY
_The first phase of the new retail area in the restricted departures area of Terminal 1 at Lisbon airport
was inaugurated, a design based on the walk-through concept
_ANAM, S.A. launched the new Madeira airports site (and its
related mobile version), which was recognised by Microsoft as
the year’s best site

_PARK HOTEL PORTO opened to the public as the
first airport hotel in Portugal, located in front of
Porto airport terminal
